IQF`s “Cryogran” pelletizers utilize liquid nitrogen to freeze most liquid or semi-liquid products into discreet free flowing pellets of consistent shape & size. All equipment is produced to meet or exceed the standards of compliance required for each commercial area of application. IQF’s equipment and technology are proprietary with patents held in many countries around the world. The majority of IQF’s equipment and technology is exported to many different destinations around the globe.

Sanitary Design

IQF's Cryogran Pelletizers are built to meet or exceed construction standards for application and use within the Bio-pharmaceutical Industry. All units are constructed where required in accordance with the ASME International Standard for Bio-processing Equipment. They are built to meet all specified regulatory needs as well as any specific GMP or cGMP requirements as may be compulsory with respect to each individual customers unique specifications. As well, all Cryograns are customized to meet any additional specific regulatory requirements mandatory for any specific country or regional compliance matters.

Customization

All Cryogran Pelletizers are customized to meet the unique and specific requirements of each individual customers needs - one size and type does not fit all. At IQF we recognize the need to design and build our units from the understanding that all products to be pelletized are unique in nature from company to company. In addition, we further recognize that all facilities are diverse — with varied internal production protocols and set-up/handling needs as well as varying compliance specific requirements both internal to the company and external from the regulatory bodies.

A Valuable Tool

As an inert gas, liquid nitrogen is as ideal as it is safe, being completely non-volatile or toxic. In fact, nitrogen gas makes up the major portion of the atmosphere we breathe (78.03% by volume, 75.5% by weight).

In addition, liquid nitrogen is a readily available product, is extremely cost efficient and is a compact and easily transported type of cryogen.
